I started with making my own body scrubs and body oils about 11 years ago. Blending together oils and butters. One thing lead to another and I discovered the science behind cosmetic formulation. I fell in love with it! Learning about proper formulation, preservatives, surfactants, emulsifiers, rheology modifiers, pH, the whole world of cosmetic science. This world is vast, and it can be hard to navigate as a beginner. I've been sharing cosmetic formulation content and documenting my learning journey on youtube since 2018 and have gained popularity in the Makers Community. I hope my content helps make formulating less intimidating and more approachable for the average person. Allowing them to see the fun and creativity in DIY Skincare while using their brain and creativity to learn and explore something new. I am self taught and everything I share are things I have learned over the years of teaching myself.
