Lactic Acid Toner Formula

Lactic Acid is one of the more mild and gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acids. It helps slough off dead skin cells revealing smoother, softer, & brighter skin. Lactic acid is said to treat scarring, skin discoloration, reduced pore appearance, and signs of aging, like fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

This toner should be mild enough for those with sensitive skin, (but do proceed with caution) Be sure to do a patch test before use. Only use 2-3 times a week if you have sensitive skin

Distilled water, Aloe Vera Juice, Rose Hydrosol, Lactic Acid, Propanediol, Chamomile Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Hydroxide

Meet the ingredients:

• Lactic Acid - helps slough off dead skin cells revealing smoother, softer, & brighter skin. Said to treat scarring, skin discoloration & signs of aging, like fine lines and wrinkles

• Chamomile Extract - has soothing and calming properties.

• Aloe Vera - highly anti-inflammatory, is known to help treat acne.

• Rose Water - has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin

• Propanediol - acts as a humectant that helps draw and lock moisture into the skin

• Sodium Phytate - improves the efficacy of preservatives and antioxidants and plays a crucial role in the stability and efficacy of personal skin care products.

• Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin - work together to preserve product.

Saturate a cotton pad with toner and gently pat into skin, avoiding eye area. Do not rinse off. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use. Apply once per day, ideally in the PM. Use after cleansing but before moisturizing.

(Sunburn Alert: This product contains a alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.) *You might feel a slight tingling sensation and flushed appearance at first but it typically will subside within minutes. *Always do a patch test on hand or arm before applying a new product, especially if you have sensitive skin.
